Can anyone help installing new car stereo in a Toyota Echo?

Erika (Nina and Brady’s Mom) asked:

I’m having a hard time figuring out which stock wire connects to the new stereo wire. If anyone has a Toyota echo if you could let me know the colour of the two power wires and which one is the ground wire?
I have the speakers figured out (I think) now I’m just trying to get the power on.
Thanks
Thats a nice idea, but the old factory connectors are already gone. the place that installed my last deck took the connectors out, and I’ve tried hooking each wire to where the last one was and its not working so its missing something.

the easy way is to go to a car audio place and buy an adapter . This plugs into where to pulled you old radio out and connects into your new radio. You will not need to learn all the colors. Simple click into socket and plug into radio. you ca order a radio wiring harness kit for JC Whitney for $3 to $13 dollars

Get a wiring adapter for your new stereo at the retail store that installs stereo’s, this way you don’t have to figure which wire goes to what. It’ll just plug right up to the factory system and the wires are labled so you don’t have to figure what wires connect to your new system.
