if you look around i’ve seen it as high as 25 an hour, but it depends on the shop some smaller privately own shops don’t have the means to support a tech for much return cash wise. for sheer enjoyment try out for a fleet work. work on only those cars, better pay especially if you go for the a government job. I worked for the fbi as their tech and you get to work on their cars and get a cool fbi style badge..
