honda accord

The battery died in my Honda Accord. After I replaced it, when I try to turn on the radio it asks for a code. Where can I get this code?

just call the dealership up and they will give you one.

Go to a Honda dealership they should be able to reset the code or take it off all together. Other than that you can’t get it anywhere else. I’ve had to do this on my GMC after getting the alternator replaced. Only the dealership knew how to do it. This is done to prevent radio theft.

Had the same problem today on my 02 Accord EX coupe. The way mine was fixed ws when I called the dealership, they had me:
1- Turn off the radio
2- simultaneously press the 1 and 6 button
3- while still holding those buttons, acrobatically turn on the radio with mouth or pinky, at which point, 2 sets of numbers displayed one after the other, prefixed with U and L.
I then gave those numbers to the rep who was able to easily lookup my 5 digit radio code. There had been suggestions that I could find this code in the glove box, But it wasn’t the case.
