my honda accord is makin some irritating noise while running?
my honda accord is makin some irritating noise while running, but when i hit the brakes, or even touch the brakes the sound is gone. some times, ABS light comes up tooo. its a 97 ex. 5 spd. manual.

It could be the brake pad sensors. When the pads get worn, these sensors let you know it’s time for new ones. It will only make the noise when you are driving along, NOT when you step on the brake, so it sounds like your pads need changing. Get it checked ASAP!
What kind of noise?
If its a squeeking or grinding noise it could be time for new brake pads, if they are worn to much the internal rivets that hold the pat together could make contact with the rotor cause major damage and requiring you to get new rotors as well.
Based on the ABS light it could also be that you are just low on brake fluid or your brake pump is going out.
modern brakes have an indicator that makes a high pitch noise. I would change your brakes asap before the indicator grinds into your disc.
sounds like your brakes are shot and you should have them checked
