Any tips on modifyimg stock exhaust cans on a ducati st4s ?

I checked with a friend of mine who owns a Duck, he said it can be done, but it is a pain in the ****. He ended up buying a set of hi-pro pipes. If you make any modifications to the exhaust, you MUST have your fuel injection tuned, otherwise you will damage your engine in a short amount of time. Try looking for a powercommander or something in that order to tune your fuel injection, or you can just take the bike to the dealer and have them tune it for you.

Ahhh, I have done this mod. You can drill and remove all the inards of the can. It will require some tools such as a rivet gun, die grinder, and posibly a few bandaids.
But alas it can be done.
