How long can I expect my 1995 Buick Skylark V6 w/156,000 miles to last before I have engine trouble?

I have already replaced the radiator, heater core, hoses, shocks and struts. The A/C compressor is shot, but everything else on the car is good. I’m wondering if I should drive this car into the ground or trade/sell it now.

Watch out for antifreeze leaking into the oil. If it hasn’t had the intake manifold gasket changed yet you might consider doing it.

if you treat it like a baby and take care of it and change the oil on a regular basis it will last a long time. proper maintenance and care it will go a long way

It depends on how it was maintained over the course of its life. If well-maintained, the engine could have well over 100k left in it. If poorly maintained, it could be dead tomorrow. It it running rough , burning or leaking oil? If so, how often do you add oil and how much each time? Also checking your spark plugs for various types of wear can tell you a lot about how your engine is running.
