How would I replace the Valve cover gasket on a 1994 BMW 525i?

Well for the valve cover just remove anything blocking the valve cover from being pulled vertically and loosen and remove the small bolts and/or nuts that holds it down.
As for the A/C a qualified technician is required because the refrigerant in the system is under pressure and is required by the state to be recovered when any service is done.
